Jelly Roll Rug - The Original

Impress everyone with your own custom made Jelly Roll Rug! It's a nice and easy project!

• Finished Size: 30" x 44" area rug

Requirements:

• One Jelly Roll!
• 1 1/4 Yards 96" Wide Cotton Batting
• Batting Seam Tape
• Size 14-18 Jeans Sewing Machine Needle
• 1 Large Spool of Thread (At least 1200 Yards). Aurifil thread is recommended.

As the rug gets bigger, it gets heavier. It's recommended to have a bar stool or something similar, to the left of you, so if you are sewing on a small table it's high enough to have the rug rest on it, so it doesn't pull your needle from the extra weight!
